Foods to Include In Stocking a Paleo Fridge


(all organic when possible)

  • organic large brown eggs
  • pastured, grass-fed butter (such as Kerrygold)
  • ghee
  • duck fat
  • unsweetened almond milk (without carrageenan)
  • unsweetened coconut milk (without carrageenan), canned coconut milk is great (thicker consistency and nothing except guar gum, which is okay)
  • coconut aminos (use in place of soy sauce, which has gluten)
  • fresh fruits, fresh vegetables
  • sweet and white potatoes
  • lemons and limes, whole fruit and juices
  • fruit only jams (sweetened with fruit concentrate is okay, as is pectin)
  • frozen organic fruit juice concentrate (keep in freezer, add to food/recipes by the spoonful, use as sweetener;  my favorite is pineapple)
  • home-made water kefir or kombucha
  • pickles and other fermented vegetables
  • olives, pickled mushrooms
  • sauerkraut, fermented vegetables
  • homemade bone broth in mason jars in the freezer
  • mixed salad greens, cilantro, basil, parsley
  • garlic, onion, ginger
  • root vegetables:  rutabagas, carrots, beets, kohlrabi, fennel
