Paleo Guacamole (fast and easy)

Paleo Guacamole

Being born and raised in California means you grow up eating lots of Mexican food, including Paleo Guacamole. That’s right, guacamole is a type of food that is already made from “paleo” ingredients.

I’m sharing this quick and easy recipe because my family eats Paleo Guacamole often. It’s a snap to make, leaving more time to make the rest of a paleo Mexican food dinner. It tastes fabulous with my Paleo Salsa Verde Chicken and Paleo Tortillas.

I always make Paleo Guacamole whenever avocados go on sale. The recipe doubles and quadruples easily so I can make a huge batch in my KitchenAid mixer, then freeze it in glass jars for later.

High in healthy monounsaturated fat, Paleo Guacamole delivers good amounts of vitamins B6, C, K, potassium and folate. It is an excellent source of dietary fiber and is proven to help lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels. (1)

Not only can Paleo Guacamole be used as a dip and side-dish for Mexican food, I think it is amazing atop broiled fish, or mixed in with canned tuna fish.

 Paleo Guacamole

  • Prep time:  8 minutes
  • Cook time:  0
  • Servings: 6

  • 4 ripe avocados
  • 1 TBS. lime juice
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. chili pepper sauce (I use Chili Gods green pepper sauce)

1. Peel avocados and remove seed. In a large bowl, mash well with a fork.

2. Add all other ingredients and mix well to blend.

In addition to eating Paleo Guacamole as a dip or topping, I spread it on anything with which I used to use mayonnaise, it’s fantastic on a turkey sandwich!
